Bentley

Bentley was founded 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley. He started quite successful producing sport cars until 1931. In that year, Bentley had big problems and was nearly ruined. It was bought by Rolls-Royce and this Partnership held up to 1998, when Bentley was sold to BMW.
