"During the 1930s Ernst Neumann-Neander designed this vehicle which is not a car nor
a motorcycle - it's called a driving machine (=Fahrmaschine). The body is made of aircraft ply.
The engine is a 2 cylinder JAP with 1100cc. 55hp and open valve levers. Apart from the innovative
design the driving machine has innovations like the integrated gauges in the steering wheel.
Neumann-Neander had the goal to create a simple and cheap car for the masses. But the production
was to expensive. The driving machine was built with three or four wheels. The three wheeler
had declining wheels - also ahead of the times.
This vehicle is the only driving machine which remains in original condition." - source: the owner.
